2 You Know You Love Me
College interviews are coming up and you HAVE to make a good impression.
Blair and Nate try “do it” *again* when they’re interrupted by the wonderful news! Blair’s mom is marrying Cyrus Rose after dating for only two months — and the wedding’s scheduled on Blair’s birthday! When Serena finds out from her mom, she totally understands how Blair must feel since that day is supposed to be just Blair’s. To add to Blair’s roller coaster life, Aaron Rose, Cyrus’ 18-year-old hippie vegan son, moves into Blair’s house. He looks adorable in his dreadlocks but annoys the hell out of Blair.
Blair’s planned out her Yale apartment with Nate but her future there looks bleak though after a horrible interview. Aaron and Blair check into a Motel 6 on the way to New Haven where they got wasted on junk food and Aaron’s herbal cigarettes. She gets a serious hangover the next morning so she blanks out on her rehearsed perfect answers. Instead, she tells her interviewer her sordid life story and even (gasp!) kisses him on the cheek. Can you believe it?
Meanwhile, Nate and the boys take a look at Brown University together with Serena and Dan. Dan fantasizes that the trip to Brown is his romantic getaway with Serena — sorry Dan. He’s getting intense with Serena and that kind of scares her.
Nate’s interview at Brown goes pretty well. Serena would have done okay if only she were honest about reading Goethe’s The Sorrows of Young Werther in English and not in French like she claims. Other than that, she’s pretty much true to herself. She realizes that she has to do something more to be “acceptable”.
