4 Bad News Blair
Blair is thrilled when her mother chooses her to be the new face of her clothing line. However, Blair’s happiness soon turns to feelings of betrayal and jealousy when Serena moves into the spotlight, and Blair finds herself back in Serena’s shadow.
Blair is the Star!
Blair’s nightmare is in the popular Breakfast at Tiffany’s scene where Serena is the star mannequin. Foreboding? She wakes up to find her best friend and her mom cozying up at the Waldorf Penthouse apartment.
We find out Bendel’s could and would carry Blair’s mom’s line. Blair has trouble letting loose at the test photo shoot so Serena helps her with RAAAAWWRRR tiger and Britney mad with an umbrella poses. Eleanor and the photographer decide to go with Serena instead of Blair — her Tiffany’s nightmare crosses over to real life. Blair crashes in on the photo shoot to discover that Serena’s the new star — rejected by her own mother.
Serena has the wildest idea: Blair and Serena take Eleanor’s clothes and do an impromptu shoot in the city! So adorable. (This happens at the end of the episode)
Chuck’s party and the Gatecrasher
Chuck and Nate have a full LOST weekend hedonism (drinks and basketball) party when Carter crashes in looking intense. Carter keeps crashing in on everything pulling Chuck and Nate apart.
Carter actually steals Chuck’s Babe Ruth prized homerun baseball. Nate’s so easily tricked by Carter in a high-stakes game, it’s painful. What an a$s. Thank God Nate managed to tell Chuck where he is so he came to his rescue.
Rufus and Lily Romance after 20 years
Lily takes back an art piece made by Rufus’ wife that was bought by Lily’s agent.
Memorable lines
Chuck to Nate: Are you high? He (Carter) looks like Matthew McConaughey between movies.
Serena to Dan: Blair can be a little… Blair.
Serena to Dan: Call me sometime so we can get together and do that thing you didn’t ask me to do.
W00t!! Serena’s an expert flirt. Love it. Dan always looks so stunned and confused.
Chuck to Carter and Nate: Stop talking. Start partying.

I really felt for Blair when Eleanor tucked her into bed after the first photo shoot. I really hated her mom for choosing Serena, for putting Blair down. I don’t know how any real loving parent can do that to her own daughter… yeah Eleanor is kinda twisted. I feel so sad for Blair. Serena got the spotlight again. But the best-friend bond conquers even this. Blair acted surprisingly nice to Serena, thanks to Dan’s heart-to-heart talk about his own mom — that sure stopped another B & S war.
I didn’t see Jenny in this whole episode… oh, right, Dan dropped her off at their mom’s in Hudson for the weekend.
