8 Seventeen Candles
Devastated by the current state of her relationship with Nate and still dealing with the guilt from her recent indiscretion, Blair puts on a happy face for her 17th birthday party and attempts to hide the truth from her friends. Hoping to ease the tension between Serena and Vanessa, Dan takes Vanessa to Blair’s party so the girls can have some bonding time, but this only ends up making Serena more uncomfortable. Jenny brings her mom home for a surprise visit, but Rufus may not be ready to forgive and forget. Nate’s parents ask him to make a huge sacrifice in an effort to salvage his father’s business as he faces charges of embezzlement and fraud.
Saint Blair?
Blair pays a visit to the confessional — for succumbing to inebriation (yes, that’s alcohol), performed at a speakeasy, and surrendered her virtue to a self-absorbed pompous ass. Chuck creepily comes up to her in his chauffeured car as she walks out of church.

D and S Make Out All Over NYC
Can you say awkward? D and S enjoy a breakfast makeout right at the restaurant where Vanessa works.
Alison Comes Back to Brooklyn
Jenny’s brought back Alison from Hudson. Dan honestly calls the situation awkward but while the kids are out, the older Humphreys get past their, well, past mistakes and recall how they felt and make out in the tiny Humphrey living room.
Who’s Worse? Nate’s Mom or Dad?
It’s bad enough that Ann, Nate’s mom turned a blind eye toward her husband’s drug problem. Howard let Nate take the fall for him. Now, Ann’s really pushing Nate to give the Vanderbilt engagement ring to Blair. But Blair couldn’t be happier.
C stabs N in the Back
So C and B hooked up after the Victrola party. Now C has come to really like Blair and does his best as Nate’s go-to man to keep Nate away from reconciling with Blair. He’s twisting all his old pearls of wisdom to make Nate give up on Blair.
B’s Seventeen Candles
Complete with Guitar Hero for the program, disco lights, and professional sushi chef — with Kati and Iz looking very kawaii (Japanese for cute) in identical sailor costumes — Blair’s party could and would be a blast.
C corners B in the balcony and confesses his feelings for her — which are of course rejected. Too bad Chuck and the butterflies in his stomach. Blair’s letdown must be the most direct and painful for Chuck’s usually insensitive demeanor.
D and V crash Blair’s party where B meets V for the first time. V and S bond over Guitar Hero and it seems like they really could be friends. Outside the party though, Nate and Jenny get to know each other a little too well at a really wrong time and even more wrong place.
And so it’s off to Chuck’s convenient diamond-laden arms again for Blair.
